We have taken indian jewellary with us when we travelled to India. I dont think it is a problem and you dont have to declare it in customs. I think if you are carrying cold in the form on coins or bars, you will have to pay customs. I dont remember but it says in the customs form that personal jewellary need not be mentioned. I would check the india's customs website.

Someone I know eb3I PD 2k3 got GC 6 Mos back, I know them personaly - first hand info.
Problem is they do not report it on froum or tracker, and leave the forum for ever... because they know there will be a lot of people asking questions or making them miserable by trying to prove them wrong... go figure...

Need not..call him up or go to his office(i recommend this) because we sound different over the phone..try to talk him/her out on this matter..he violated some labor rules, it doesn't mean he/she cannot come after u on this matter..court and labor department are two separate issues..any evidence against him/her can only be used by the discretion of judge..there are several loop holes in this contract issues..by experience i have only got to know a few of them..don't be scared..coz that doesn't help u..finally sorry to tell that i am not able to help you in giving a straight answer..but please do contact a legal attorney in this matter..just consult him/her and get their first hand opinion..also talk to ur employer face to face(if possible) and tell him/her u made few mistakes and i have done one mistake..tell them to get it over with..if u run away from him, he/she thinks ur scared and will try to scare u more..lastly please do not lose ur control by threating / abusing with emails or voice mails or any of that kind..coz that can be used against u inspite of his/her mistake..

She doesn't need a transit visa. My mother-in-law came last week through Munich. She had a 10-yr multiple entry US visa stamped and didn't need any German transit visa.

Due to PD movement, to track exact status of how many guys are "already in Que" and how many guys want to "join" the Que, we needs to have two more options e.g. -
- India PD current & I-485 already filed (guys already in Que)
- India PD current & I-485 NOT filed (guys want to Join the Que)
This will help to know how many guys are in que, how many VISA's are available (as per USCIS) and then we will have some "guess" work on how PD will move ahaead in upcoming months!!

Current: Company A (Has filed for h1 extention on May 1 under normal processing)
Future: Company B (Has filed for Transfer under Premium Processing as of May 6)
Currently employed with A. Company B lawyer has filed a transfer on May 6 Premium Process.(I believe current status is LCA is under process).
I plan to resign on May 21 with A and travel abroad to Dubai On May 22. Will be back on June3 to usa

Trying something comparable to double processing, but without the original, I selected the sky, copied the layer, and changed the blend mode to multiply. I then inverted the selection, copied the original layer again, and changed that mode to screen. That made the sky colors richer and the mountains lighter. (didn't post, as my selection was quick and dirty, not at all precise) The beauty of doing it as dual raw conversion rather than this way is there is no destruction of pixels in the process.

I applied My and My Spouse EAD on July 12, 2008 and Notice date July 15, 2008 and we both got our EADs approvals on Aug 08, 2008 and we did receieved 2 Years EADS on Aug 19, 2008. I am EB-3 I PD SEP-2004.

I think OP is correct as CIR will not pass this year. Remember Mr bush took advantage 8 years ago and won election. Even he may knew that it will not pass. Same way Raid may know that it may not pass but what is wrong to take advantage of pushing CIR. Even if it doesnot pass or introduced he may win because Hispanic will think if he wins he may bring CIR for sure.
Now in near future Mr President does not have any benefit of CIR unless he runs for next term. So for him delayed CIR is good. till 2011. So it may be win-win for both. Raid will make a vocal for it now and will win election and OBAMA will keep silence and make attempt in 2011. If passes or not he may win election again.
Only catch is if hispanic people think that Replicans didnot help them and now dems not going to help again so they may not give vote to Dems as punishment and that may hurt.

That law is unconstitutional. INA doesnt say that everyone born in United States is a citizen. Even the Constitution says that. To deny birth-right citizenship to anyone (children of legal or illegal residents) would require constitutional amendment.
Constitutional amendment is not a joke. This bill is a rhetorical statement, not an intent to legislate it.

I just checked on my service request and after 2 weeks they still have not done anything, no updates on case no fp notice nothing since April 30th...and here they received it on April 16th....
I am not sure i need a fp notice, I simply hoped that they would look at the EAd if I put in a service request, because they have been sitting on it
I also was told by this lady that the 90 days turnaround of EADs is just an estimate and I need to wait 45 days for a response on my service request....well i am on 60 days for EAd now so 60 plus 45 thats 105 and I cannot afford them messing around this long!!!!!

My case is not complicated (i believe) but transfered from Texas to Vermont.
May be not many adjudicators over there who can handle 485's or lot of workload.

this is obviously great news for those affected.
however the speed at which the authorities have acted, and the almost total lack of support from the Congress could imply that politics here is (like desh) is quickly heading down the "what's in it for me" path.
