New Iphone user, Please Help, Iphone 3GS can not restore any ipsw, Error 3194.
Iphone ver.3.1.2 (jailbreak) bootRom?
After WiFi stop recognized network, I choose to reset Iphone network?
After Iphone reset, I tried run with blackra1n version RC3,
From that time I can not restore any IPSW files. It gave an Error 3194 or see below log messages.

friend is big tech guy. bought wife a MBP on 06/10. she got him a MBP 15"I7 for xmas on 12/10. he bought an ipad on 10/10. today he got a new imac for kitchen. and there are 3 more units floating around house. 1 in home recording studio. 1 in home theater room.

I am wondering why my Ipod does this...every like 5th time i start it up, it tells me to reconnect to itunes and restore....and does not work unless i restore it. What the heck is going on?

I think what good donating blood does is bigger than your sexual orientation, or mine.
Surely it's not about sexual orientation but actual sexual activity, and whether that places you in the 'high risk' category. Some other commenters have been good enough to reference statistics on this.
Other commenters seem to think they're being victimised here by a bigoted political conspiracy. I confess, I know little about US politics or medicine, but here in Australia I was also required to fill out quite a lengthy form regarding questions of health, travel and sexual activity (both heterosexual and homosexual). Sure, we also have blood screening, but when we're dealing with matters of life and death what's the problem with a preliminary line of defence against contaminated blood?
Again, I would say to those who feel offended… Is it really about your desire to serve your community, or more about your personal pride? Giving blood, or really any kind of community service, should always be about the people you are serving. If you can't give blood, for whatever reason, rather than getting incensed about it, why not direct your charitable desires into other areas of need? There are virtually no limits to the altruistic opportunities for people willing to give of their time and energies, regardless of sexual orientation. Don't be a victim… and don't seek to be a hero. Just go out and make the world a slightly better place in whatever way you can!

system preferences crashes when i hit sound, and also when i hit mouse a keyboard pref... this is a real problem for me, (problem opening sound preferences).

Good news everyone!!! You guys remember the connecticut home invasion where Dr. William Petit, his two daughters and wife were brutally attacked in their home, and the daughters and wife were tortured, raped and murdered? Well, the trial for the second suspect is going on today, and he's probably getting the death penalty!! The first suspect, steven hayes, was already sentenced to death a few months back. It's sad to see an "old timer" leave Apple, but I'm guessing that Serlet's financially set and wants to do some "pure" research at a university before he retires. Not everyone has that luxury.
It seems that OS X will be left in good hands, though.
I read somewhere he's perhaps not happy that iOS is gaining more influence over OS X. Certainly possible imo.

Is that retribution, or is it lunacy? How many more people now want retribution on the USA?
You're over play that part, I agree generally with what you are saying(although the million estimate is on the higher end, its not without sources) but America had NOT bankrupted itself, it just needs to cut spending, a lot.
But thats not all because of 9/11, we just did balance the budget well overall, both on spending at home and spending internationally.

Its only BBC iPlayer and TVcatchup.com. Youtube is better but still glitchy
For iPlayer use iPlayer Grabber (http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/29604/iplayer-grabber) which will allow you to directly download the streams that you can later delete. Once you have the file on your drive use the G4 optimized Mplayer I created this (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1129727&highlight=) thread to share. Be sure to set the Mplayer preferences the way I show there for best results.
I will look into a tvcatchup solution. Does it use flash? If so then Firefox with the FlashGot extension should do the trick to download them and then use Mplayer like the iPlayer videos.
As for youtube I am shocked you have not heard of Mactubes (http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/28608/mactubes). Simply set the player setting in preferences to Quicktime and it will play youtube without even breaking a sweat. The fact that there is no need to go to the site or download the videos first makes it practical and also makes a new user experience without the ads and comments. You can see comments in video info though.

I'd love to see Apple displace Google Maps on their iOS devices. That would be a major blow to Google and a major win for Apple and their iAd product. The more you tie maps into adverts the more personalized those adverts become. The more successful marketing campaigns. Apple can take iAds to the next level. :cool:

And the reason they are probably available at limited locations would be a limited supply of an item (Still High Ticket despite the $100.00 Discount) being sold from a store where 95% of their stock is priced in a sub $10.00 per unit price point is going to be directed to markets where they are more likely to sell - Larger Cities, Stores in retail plazas with other high ticket resellers, and cities with a higher tech savvy population like Austin, Seattle, Dallas, Silicon Vally, New York City...
It the chain has more then 10K units to distribute thats when things get pretty unusual...
