    where can i download photoshop from?

    Photoshop is expensive.

    That sucks about the comp not being able to take it. I know what that is like all too well.

    I have been using Photoshop since April 2001. I started with Photoshop 6 and now I have 7. It sometimes lags on me when I create large 1024x768 wallpaper images and such.

    EB5 investor Visa is already in place.
    The numbers are a little different ($500,000 to $1M) but you can buy yourself a GC pretty quickly.

    If I am not wrong.....I had checked on the EB5 retrogression some time back..

    I am trying to fill the canadian visa application and would like to know what should I check on Question #8
    a) citizen( obviously not)
    b) Permanent residet
    c) Temporary resident
    d)Worker
    e) Student(obviously not)

    It also asks valid until date(What should I put).I am no longer working on H1B as I am using EAD

    Need to travel to canada on Friday(08/13/2010)

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks for the tip, I'm going to experiment. It's good to have a bunch of different tools and techniques, not all images behave the same in Photoshop.

    I am beginning to really like the 100-400, as was a bit worried as the first few images were not good at all, but as I learn how to use it I see it's all my fault. :)

    F-1 OPT with H1B Pending Now Wants 17-Month OPT Extension

    Yet another variation that occurs involves F-1 students who have job offers. The prospective employer of an F-1 student normally has filed an H1B petition requesting a change of status for that F-1 student. The parties now want to take advantage of the April 2008 option announced by the USCIS to utilize the possible 17-month OPT extension provision. The employer needs to withdraw the H1B petition in order for the student to continue in F-1 status. Once the status is changed from F-1 to H1B, the individual would no longer be able to extend the OPT period, even if the H1B petition is approved for the future start date of employment. However, before withdrawing the potentially very valuable H1B petition, it is best to discuss the advantages and disadvantages with a qualified immigration attorney.

    In your case you never started your H1 status. So you should be eligible for applying an OPT extension, which should give you ample time for next lottery.

    I am no lawyer, you should check with a good immigration attorney about this.

    " On July 26, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS"

    Long wait is over....
    I thank IV core members and all others for their efforts and information.

    First of all, you cannot be out of status while I-485 is pending. Your H1 status is expired so technically you do not have H1 status anymore. However, if extension is approved, it will apply retroactively and make your H1 status current as of Feb 7th. Oh, forgot to mention that you can still work for 240 days after H1 is expired and it will not be counted as status violation.

    Hi , is the limit for 240 days only or TILL we get the approval ?. What do we need to after 240 days ?. Thanks.

    I have contacted Gowda himself and he seems very responsive and helpful. Fees sound pretty reasonable as well. I have been thinking of using him for my H-1B renewal.

    My EAD card (renewal) has data entry error, it is USCIS mistake, so called them and they asked me to file new EAD application and send with this card to the center where it got approved. they asked me to send new EAD application with card (but no filing fee) and if it is not their problem and if it mine, then they will ask for the filing fee.

    Did anyone had this experience before? please let me know the procedure, thanks.

    My PD 15 July 2002 EB3 India and
    I485 Receipt Date May 12, 2004

    Found that someone with Aug 2002 PD got approved on June 1 whose I485 Receipt date was May 2003.

    I guess USCIS does not go by PD to select who should be adjucated first but by what date the I485 was received. They are really ingenious and creative in finding ways to be inefficient and unjust.

    Oh well....

    IV is the only place that is doing a lot to change.
    Keep the good work IV.

    Well this is always going to be there,FIFO is not guaranteed during adjustement of status.It is quite possible someone who has filed later and has a PD which is later is likely to be approved because this depends on various factors i.e case to case basis,FBI name check ,security clearance,immigration officer who is adjucating your case etc.
    But the good news for you is that your case has now has a available Visa Number and if your application is in order (as per the Immigration Officer)
    then u will get an approval.
    In other words your chances of your case /PD being retrogressed are highly unlikely.

    I was informed that without I-94 card she cannot be added to my insrurance.

    Can anyone suggest me some good insurance I can take online/india for this kind of situation...???

    I have never seen anyone asking for an I-94 card to get your wife added to your insurance.If you are an employee going through employers insurance then they have to add you and your family to the insurance coverage without any discrimination . That is as far as I know . Maybe I could be wrong but I am pretty sure about it. You can take her insurance without she being here . I recently changed my coverage this month for myself and my family and its start date was the same day I submitted the forms and not the 1st of next month or something like that.

    You can change via H1-b transfer and H4 will be valid. You 485 should be valid due to AC 21.

    Now, the question is when dates do become current, and you want to file a dependent 485, will any support be needed from your old employer with whom you started your GC process?

    Can the primay file this himself with just his 485 receipts.
