I have a slightly used copy of NBA Live 06 for the 360. I am looking to get $50 shipped for this. I have 100% positive feedback under rhelfrey on ebay. No sir, I don't like it. No matter how you slice it, prices going up with competition going down (T-Mo buyout) only means customer gets screwed. But more importantly, I see this as a hedge for Ma Bell. (Roughly) six months prior to VZW iPhone availability/announcement, ATT hiked up ETFs. Now this. Could be that the upcoming iPhone 5 is yet another killer product in that such a move would be a stop-gap for would-be early upgraders and ATT wanting to offset that subsidy. If timing of this were an indicator like the ETFs in relation to VZW iPhone, six months from now would be quasi-in-line with rumored iPhone 5 release.

FYI Lion Preview 3 has fixed automator! :)

I would still estimate that there are many more FCP installs in use than Avid.
If you look at the industry as a whole there are but the higher up the food chain you go the fewer FCP seats you see. These numbers are from a couple of years ago but from what I remember FCP had about 50% of the market and Avid had 25% or 30%. A survey of A.C.E. members (American Cinema Editors), who mainly work on 'Hollywood' TV shows and movies, taken around the same time showed that about 80% of members used Avid while about 10% used FCP.
For feature films and television these days, Final Cut is ABSOLUTELY the industry standard. Oh and in the 8 years I've lived in Hollywood, I never met one person in the industry who uses a Windows PC (maybe a writer or two).

well, i'd just pop Photoshop open for the task. but free programs? not sure...
What you maybe could do with GraphicConverter (I haven't used it in forever, so i'm not sure what it can do) is make your whole photo grayscale, then bring in parts of the photo (a copy, rather) in color and paste them over top...

Huh? Every Vice President is a Vice President. Serlet has been much of the managerial brains, and the tech brains as well, behind Cocoa. There's a VP of hardware, etc. I guess you tend to hear from them since they're also spokesmen. I assure you, there are lots of coders and PR people and guys in shipping who aren't VPs.

ARG!!!!! 2G iPod Shuffle NOT in Stores On Friday!!!!!!!!
So I stopped by one of the apple stores in town today on my way to work. and well there were NO iPod shuffles in!!!! (but i missed the fact that there were 8GB red nanos, though i doubt they actually had any in stock!!) The guy working at the apple store said they 'might' be in by this afternoon or evening and they will 'hopefully' have enough stock to make it through the weekend, but 'there was a chance' that they wouldnt have any by sunday.

I am not saying that there are no young men with out the ability to make wise choices. Wise choices are the foundation to wisdom. What I am saying is that you wont know how wise they are until you look back at them years down the road (usually). So I know it is kindof a contridiction. But I'm saying that it might not seem like a mistake now, but you might view it as one later down the road.
Plus the wisdom of men ends where his hormones begins.

Could we see a picture of your engraving please?
I've tried snapping pictures of my engraving, but my camera won't pick up anything but a blur... But for what it's worth, it seems the Capital letters / numbers are exactly 1/16th of an inch in height.

and also: are we not able to change things like the "downloads" icon in the dock at all? i can change all of the other ones but i haven't gotten it to work for that one. i didn't have any trouble with documents or the trash so i didn't think there would be a problem with downloads. x.x
You should be able to change your Downloads folder, I've changed my Applications, Utility, Documents & Downloads earlier today. Open the Downloads folder in Finder / Get Info / Under the Sharing & Permissions tab make sure you give "everyone" the privilege to Read & Write. You should now be able to change the smaller icon up top to your choosing.
