Personally, I let the phone drop to 0% and then recharge it to 100%. You really don't HAVE to, but some recommend it.
When the iPhone reaches 100% charge, it will not accept any more - so, no, it's not bad to keep it plugged in.

According to one of the tear down sites, it's the exact same panel (Model/Part#) as the 2010 models.

To hype an already overhyped and WAY overrated site? That's gotta be the point of the trailer.

Hi lokerd,
can you or someone explain how to double tap to switch apps with Sbsettings? I cannot see this option!
Sure, under the Activator settings, you can set what does what. Click on the Anywhere button, then scroll down to "Status Bar".
I have double tap status bar set to bring up the application switcher. Swipe right brings up sbsettings, swipe left brings up system settings. Swipe down brings up the home springboard.
Hope this helps.

I've been looking for a clear TAM for a while now, I'm not entirely sure that it exists, but whatever.
30 minutes left @ $202. I might have to pull the trigger :O
There was a complete Clear TAM at one time. :)

most TVs don't include an audio in port for the HDMI.
you can use something like
this (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=101&cp_id=10114&cs_id=1011405&p_id=5369&seq=1&format=2) - a dvi and digital audio combiner, that outputs HDMI.
and one of these (http://www.monoprice.com/products/subdepartment.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10229&cs_id=1022902) toslink to mini cable to connect audio from your computer to the box.
and one of these (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10209&cs_id=1020901&p_id=2685&seq=1&format=2) dvi cables to connect your computer to the box.
you'll also need an HDMI male to male, to plug the box into your TV.
also look at your TV manual, or if you're using an external stereo that has digital inputs. the toslink to mini cable might come in handy.
FWIW, I use that specific box (http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=101&cp_id=10114&cs_id=1011405&p_id=5369&seq=1&format=2) referenced by waw74. Works just fine on my Mac Pro.

Quicktime sucked on my PC a year ago. Clunky and ugly UI.
Quicktime X is nice, but needs more basic features to be useful to me. I do love the trimming action, quick and easy.

Ok. Apolgies again but I guess I didn't make myself clear. Yes the pages are written in ASP, I wrote them myself but like any other web page it's still just text at the end of the day. Unlike HTML you can't just view the page source and edit it though since the HTML you are seeing could just be something that is rendered by the server. What I'm after is something that can FTP to my site, download a file and then edit it using a text editor before reuploading

I will try to avoid Macrumors and Engadget but it will be hard. I just can't wait!
Same! But the chances of me going to the darkside and checking before the video comes online is quite likely :p :D

Does anyone know how I could do this? Basically I have a client who wants to stream a part of their store to the general public so that people could see what happens during the day. All that I know at the moment is that it will be a flash window located on their front page. I just don't know how I should go about streaming to the web. Would I need a dedicated IP? Hardware/Server? What kind of bandwidth would this require?

I do like my Logitech MX 700 and I would never go back to one button but... as with many things these days (hope I don't sound old) but the logitech lacks build quality. For example the silver paint on the body/buttons is rubbing off and so it looks a bit battered. The charger unit has its moments when the mouse just doesn't want to charge. And to us Brits the power adapter is wired in upside down.

Nice!
Damn, brings back memories. I was a reseller back in the day and had a lot of those things and got rid of them. I had on of these and gave it away. Facepalm.

As long as it's a 12" the G3s and G4s can use the same battery.
Well, there ya go... its yours if you want it.

Nice picts Ward, can you get 8-10 hrs on the batteries?
I used to love playing crystal quest on my MacPortable.
I'm sure you are running some AfterDark screen savers as well.
Does anyone remember the "Barney Blaster" screen module?
I was NOT allowed to play that in front of my young nieces/nephews back then.

Ward;
just saw your other thread. You gotta show some AD screen saver picts!!

Yep, your photos are nice.. but in today's digital world 99% of all current dslr camera equipment is capable of producing better work than 99% of all current photographers will ever accomplish. As others pointed out, professional success is more about marketing and sales than skill truthfully. I know some really crappy surf photographers that travel the world on some company's dime, while I am stuck on the east coast shooting masterpieces!:p:cool:
Unless you just find a different angle of something and portray it in a new and unique light that hasn't been exploited already; then you may really be on to something.;)
Clark Little (http://www.clarklittlephotography.com/) did it right, with a combination of honed skills, proper use of light and processing, he's revealed the surf in a way never quite seen by the average viewer and yet is appealing to folks who have never even been to a beach. Some risk also was involved.. but you've seen his pics even if you don't know who he is...
