Arrived at about 7:10AM and was about number 30 out of 40 phones. The line took around 3.5 hours. Not too bad. They were expecting their second shipment this afternoon but it ended up arriving around 11AM. The people at the end of the line were stoked! They were sold out of phones though once the line gets their phones.

There really is no problem as you describe. It's relatively easy to hold the stylus and the console and still access the buttons simultaneously. Most games that utilise the stylus don't use the buttons much and vice versa. In all the controls are really well thought out in the majority of games. You can also just use your fingers on the touchscreen in some games (i.e. you get an extra big button in new super mario bros especially for thumb activation).
It's one of those things that's hard to describe. You need to have a play around to fully understand.

The most powerful PPC cards are the Nvidia 7800GT or ATI 1900XT. They are pretty much on par performance wise.
They require a PCIe slot, though, which I'm not sure your G5 has. Only the late 2005 models are equipped with this slot. All previous G5 models have a AGP slot, in which case you should settle with a Nvidia 6800 Ultra. However, if you can find one, a flashed PC 7800 for AGP (usually on ebay) will be your best bet.

One thing that bugs me about the illegal tethering situation:
If AT&T knows who is illegally tethering, why do they allow it to happen? Why not simply prevent tethering packets from reaching the Internet?
AT&T obviously can differentiate between data to the YouTube app and data through MyWi because they meter legal tethering to 4Gb limit.
Is it just a big tease? And why not simply back charge everyone who used MyWi/PdaNet in the past?
When I talked to the AT&T rep, she said I had tethered illegally. But she could not tell me the specific times I had tethered. Lame.
AT&T would want a "solution" that is legal and makes them money. The best outcome for them if someone is tethering without permission is to telll the person, who then changes to a plan that allows tethering, paying money every month. If it works that way, perfect for AT&T: It is legal, and it makes money.
Backcharging would be a _huge_ legal problem. There is no contract that allows them to charge for tethering. They would have to take people to court. Which is expensive and really pisses them off, so they wouldn't be customers in the future. AT&T would rather you pay for phone and tethering for the next ten years, rather than backcharging you for the last year and losing you.
Preventing tethering is difficult as well. Right now they might know enough to send you a letter, and if you get one of those without ever having tethered you just tell them. Their recognition doesn't need to be perfect. If they try to cut tethering off, they have to be one hundred percent sure (not 99.999% sure) that they don't cut off anything that isn't tethering. Again, they will lose customers otherwise. And of course they don't make money doing this.
When you called it "lame" that the rep didn't know any exact times: Why would they? First step is identifying customers who are likely tethering and sending them a letter. You either sign up to tethering or you don't. If you don't, they can then watch your connection a lot, lot more closely. That is the point where it costs them money, and if you are tethering, it may cost you money. Your legal position has become a lot worse if you lied to them about not tethering and they can prove it, because then it isn't breach of contract anymore, it is suddenly fraud. A real crime.
Because they are using the illegal tethering issue to force people off grandfathered unlimited data plans. And to collect the legal tethering fees. You just put a block on there and they've got no leverage.
Depends on how hard they try. So if AT&T asks you (politely) to sign up for tethering, what can you do? You can say "Oh, I didn't know that wasn't allowed, sign me up". Good for AT&T. You can say "Oh, I didn't know that wasn't allowed, I'll stop tethering". Kind of good for AT&T. You can say "I've never tethered", and if that is the truth, nothing they can do. You can say "I'm tethering, but I'm not going to pay" and they can cancel your contract for cause, which is likely bad for you. You can lie "I've never tethered" in which case you may be in _real_ trouble if they follow it up and can prove you are tethering.

To me, winning an eighth Tour will do nothing to dispel the rumors of Lance doping in '99. Spite would be best served by digging up some dirt on the French press and embarrassing them with it.

You can install Snow Leopard client from a USB stick. You can google for instructions on how to prepare a USB stick.
A clean install of Snow Leopard would be ideal unless you're moving from an old Mac and would rather not setup and configure everything again.
Or Do what I am thinking of doing after the next Mini refresh, just buy an external USB CD/DVD for $30

Thanks Captain Obvious. I was just being sarcastic.
Next time use a smile to indicate sarcasm. You can't tell sarcasm reading from words and I have seen some post like this before and was serious.

Just wait until more statistics are generated - then you'll see the revealing numbers.
Numbers!!???? I want more than NUMBERS ... I want the blood of the unforgiving weak minded X86 cronies who polute my eyes during every waking moment of my working hours.....
Fortunately I spend most of my work day asleep at my desk, thus quelling any urges to kill the fools ........
Second pointless rant aside, I'm gonna reckon that this may be the biggest selling PPC unit in the last 4 years, and the design of it, unlike it's 2nd gen predecessor that I love and want buried with me, gives scope for far more development of upgrade and improve.
I sense a second wave of the post '98 good times ...

The best plan is to use iTunes to rip the CDs. First go to preferences and set the defalt files type to "Apple lossless". Then you feed in the CDs one at a time and they go straight into iTunes get tagged and it's simple. Some times tagging fails if youhave a rare CD that is not in the database then thr must type in the info.
All good, thanks.
To get files you've already ripping into iTunes just do File->Import Folder and iTunes will copy the tracks in the that folder. If thse tracks are tagged it will copy the tags if untagged you willhave to type in the data. It may be easier to re-rip them frominside iTunes than type in all that data
iTunes will presumably read the folders that have WAV files in them, but what about the FLAC files?

thanks for your effort. that explains npr, but i am sure i checked other stations also, just out of curiousity, and got the same result. i'll check again to see if i'm being lazy in my thinking.
otherwise, just wanna say that this sucks. i like a lot of streaming audio sources, and i prefer qt/itunes whenever possible. those choices seem to be winnowing, not expanding.
