Not workable if we don't have the number of real active members, which I think is a big problem. We have 40K userid's and only 1000 votes.... doesn't' make sense. Either these id's are fake, obsolete or created in error.

I got past strip bars or junk like that long time back... I am going to do something similar to what you said. I am going to become more responsible citizen and would start enjoying life more..

Instead of blowing the money in strip bar or any place like that, send it to India and ask them feed any orphans. You will be blessed more......

hello all,
Lets say you are a citizen here or your son is a citizen becasue he was born here.
Then you decide to go back and he starts studing with the PIO, I guess that works till he gets to college(Govt colleges are NRI quota right?)
Then when he want to work there dose he have to get a VISA like us comming here to work ?
I ask this becasue a friend of mine said a major IT company in India said that such a person cannot work in India without a VISA and they are not sponsering any visa's now.
so when he tried to come to the US, it seems that he had to pay for all his education as an NRI would have paid.
also if you reject the US citizenship and US is not going to give you any visa..ever !
PIOs are allowed to work without additional VISA.

Infact, I find it encouraging, that TSC is trying to facilitate the process one way or other, given their system deficiency.

This is a good news. But It is scary that they don't have any mechanism to pull the application based on PD/country.
It Might be useful for them to get an idea about how many are pending based on the current priority dates. Hope that it will help them to set the visa date for the continueing month instead putting a random number for the cutoff dates.

I had similar experience in Mexico. Most of the queries are directed at your employer if it is a consulting co. As ss1026 said, every case is different, but if you can provide the info. it should be ok, though it can test our nerves and time-taking. Hang on and be diligent with the queries and wishing you good luck.

So what you are saying is i can have 2 H1-b's only if both the jobs are part time. If any one of the two is full time, then it would be illegal. But here's the question. If i file for a 2nd H1-B, the INS should reject my 2nd H1-B request as i already have a full time job on my 1st H1-B. I guess this would be the only way to find out, since no one is sure what the law is.Is there some kind of INS documented law or statements to confirm this??

My wife went for H4 visa stamping in New Delhi embassy yesterday. The visa officer asked her a couple of questions, then asked for my I797 approval notice. He kept the passport and the approval notice and said they will mail the passport with visa.
Do they mail the I797 back with passport? I need the original approval notice for travel and my documentation. Has anyone been through this? Is there a way to follow up with the embassy to get it back? If they lose the document that will be a serious problem.

How long the old I-140 needs to be valid ? Should it be valid only until one gets the new I-140 cleared with the Old PD ? Or does it needs to be valid until the 485 is filed and status is adjusted ?
