Do you recall when iTunes launched the video store? The only TV shows were like 3-4 ABC shows + a few Disney Channel shows. I think you are underestimating the power of iTunes to drag studios along. Disney has a large library of titles, and not just Mickey Goes to Camp.
But it's going to be HARDWARE that looms large if a movie store can be sucessfull, then pricing, then content. No WS iPod, and I think the sucess rate goes down dramatically. The majority of people have no desire to watch movies on their computer unless maybe on a laptop if they are travelling.

You see...ATi's integrated graphics solution is WAAYY BETTER than Intel 945 integrated graphics solution, so, it would be the perfect match for a lowcost laptop: Turion CPU and an ATi chipset.

It's probably been figured out by now, but you can remove your vote (whether positive or negative). Just click the button that you previously clicked to remove your rating. Lets say you clicked +1 but now you want to take that back to make it 0, just press +1 again to undo it.

Apple will need to open up osX to generic PC's but i can understand they'll want to wait until the Mac growth is stalling. Maybe at about 10% marketshare ?
Science fiction scenario: Five to seven years from today Apple and Hewlett Packard partner. HP gives up on Microsoft/Windows and ships machines with either Mac OS or Linux. Dell considers joining the club, as well.
Another five years later, Mac OS market share approaches that of Microsoft.

That is a really good idea.
He would have to come up with language that does not confirm or deny, but still states "not this quarter".
I believe it would increase sales on the margin for peple waiting for the next great thing to come out ala Merom MBP, despite the fact that the only benefit to Merom over Yonah is 64 bit.
He should UPOD and SAY this was the greatest processor improvement in a decade and additional improvements will be incremental for a couple years.
Even if we later learn those increments are doublings of processor counts. Besides that ONLY benefits threaded applications, not "traditional applications" which have seen a plateau for the forseeable future.
At some point the consumer experience is not appreciably improved by processor improvements. Except for media processing intensive applicatons, we are there.
That alone ia an amazing statement for the Apple platform.
Can any other platform say that or even promise that any time within 2 years?

There is not enough time to cover all the material on the California Standardized Test (CST), this week we crammed (American Studies) on WWII to get it covered before the CST in two weeks (26th). Best part is that plenty of the material is on civil rights+cold war.

I agree apple was presented with a lawsuit last year and they still refused to address this until some geeks found the actual BUG, thats way out of line, Apple is LIABLE period,
Now they have privacy matters with tracking, collecting and remote desktop controlling with out users consent.

Nope. Wouldn't put the store down at 5:30 pm on a Thursday (EST) for maintenance. My money is on either a major failure (unlikely) or a PRODUCT(RED) MacBook.

Same here, but maybe they have had a clean install on their systems after update II.

Nope, it won't happen at all. There is too big of a market for people who write and rely on custom software.
Who said there couldn't be custom software? You'll simply need a developer package. Students might get a special 'exception' area on the App store or private access or whatever, but it doesn't mean they won't start closing down the system at some point. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon....

I just bought the 23 inch several days ago. My serial is 2A6251XXXXXX and it shows up with a june 2006 production date. Like the earlier poster, it is very bright and I also turned it down a little. I also turned the color down to Thousands instead of Millions as a psychological trick for when i need it. Now after reading the pink hue replies (which i totally forgot about) I can't tell if i have a pinkish hue or if its my own paranoia.

I used to live in Ithaca, NY and drove 45 miles to work up to Seneca Falls, going through much wilderness and nothingness. Throughout the drive, with Verizon not only would I have coverage but I would have 3G coverage most of the way. With AT&T, no only did I not have 3G coverage (about 1 mile outside of Ithaca) but much of the drive, I had no coverage at all.
That is just one example. Part of me wants to cancel AT&T and use my iPhone as a standalone iPod Touch device.

Let me clear something up, IA32e is what a 64 bit intel chip uses to run 32-bit operating systems and applications. You probably meant EM64T which is what gives the chip the capability to read 64-bit instructions.

I'm the autor of these pictures. I've made this with 3dsmax and Vray render. Photoshop has been just use to create the noise and resize the pictures.
For the perspective problem on the third pics, it's just a lens distortion of my camera.
Stop search, it's just a 3D render exercise.
I'm happy to see that my work unleashed passions but it's A FAKE.

The phone will be the 4s. The start of production of the CDMA phone in Aug 2010 threw everything off kilter.
The 4s will be a 4 with the 3.7 screen, and a A5 chip. That is it. Period.
The 5 will be out in 2012 with Qualcomms 2nd gen Dual Band Chip which will be ready early 2012. It will will be a complete redesign with LTE. My money is on some type of new chassis with a new hybrid aluminum. The back glass will be gone for sure.
Apple will then produce 1 World iPhone. 5,6,7,8,9.... all Global Phones. :apple:

No, I'd say Snow Leopard is about 80% better than Tiger and 20% worse. I mostly skipped over Leopard, and went from 10.4 on a G5 to 10.6 on a Mac Pro. There are quite a number of improvements all over the place that show it's clearly the result of taking a look at earlier versions and saying "wouldn't it be better if...", and then acting on it. There are a few steps backwards though, the biggest one for me being the incomprehensible mutilating of Expos�. Fortunately there's a nice hack which restores the correct behavior (and makes the dock look better), but it's a little annoying to have to re-apply that after every update.
