OS9... hhehehe, Even apple was trying to replace mac classic as early as 93. os9 was a terribly outdated OS for it's time. Man, thank god for steve and osx.

I am trying to take over the world and it isn�t easy for somebody like me, I need to know the info, I needed to be in the know. My PC prevented me from doing that.
The trouble was a freakin idiot designed my PC; it wasn�t helping me steal nuclear warheads so I could hold the world to ransom.
My PC kept getting errors and it crashed so much, I could never complete my plans on properly. This would make Mr Bigglesworth upset. Meow!
Yeah, and when Mr Bigglesworth got upset I got angry, I had the PC staff at my local store li-qui-dated, yeah, huh-uh!
That�s when I got my Mac, that�s when I could finally take over the world, it was so easy. My plans were made so simple.
My �lasers� would fire, �The Alan Parsons Project� actually worked.
With the software included with my Mac I could easily organise my iLife with my evil henchmen, instantly my Number 2 knew who he worked for.
It was so easy and I didn�t need to spend billions of dollars either.

You either loved or hated the puck. If it was clean, it felt great to use. I still have them and use one on the blueberry iMac I have in the garage. I personally liked it a lot.

I was worried that'd be the case. I reckon you're best bet might be to take it back to Apple quickly if it's not too much trouble for you. They should be very good about fixing it considering it stopped working under their watch. Sorry I can't be more helpful. :o

Hi there a few months back I upgraded my G4 733Mhz Quicksilver with a dual 1,6 Ghz card from Powerlogix. I initialy experienced some problems with the computer turning off on it's own accord after an hour or so of use. After changing the settings in the energy-panel to highest performance this seemed to stop.
Anyway I recently had the brilliant idea (not) of replacing the fan above my harddisk in the vain hope to reduce some noise (which has been the only negative side to my experience with this computer). Everything seemed to work fine initially but suddenly the machine once again started to switch off on it's own account.
I therefore put the original fan back, but the machine still switches off when I push it just a little bit too hard. Nothing fancy really, just a few apps open and running MAME. According to Powerlogix CPU Director was running just south of 109 F when the machine swithched off.
This of course makes me worry more than just a little bit.
My only*real hope is that I have maybe inserted the original fan backwards? Could someone just please tell me whether the sticker on the fan should point outwards into the computer or if it should be pointing away, into the "wall" not being visible.

I have been watching the price of Apple stocks and they are down $20 from last week when I almost bought a single share. Glad I didn't though. If I get this job today or tomorrow I think I will buy one or two shares while it's sagging.

If not, can you tell me your setup?
If it is, I'm afraid your only choice is to capture with iMovie - save everything else for FCX.
It's not all that inconvenient - exept you'll be importing non-intuitive clips names "Clip 01", "Clip 02", etc. You'll have to rename them in your browser to keep your sanity.

I have this mouse and it is the absoltue best mouse I have ever owned or tried. Very smooth, use on a pad, off a pad, use it from 20 ft away on a hardwood floor (I have tried it!!)
It has a rechargeable battery that lasts forever, is EXTREMELY comfortable in your hand and has a multitude of controls at your fingertips. (scroll wheel up and down as well as left and right, a button that works like the command+tab button feature, etc. All are programable via a system preference. Best of all, it was recognized as soon as I plugged it in.
Can't say enough about it, well worth the $79.
Me Too! Me Too! I've got one and it's super. Was using a Kensington Track pad but just couldn't get it's 4 buttons working correctly. Went back to the Apple "hockey puck" and boy was it painfull. Finally a mouse with lft/rt buttons; scroll wheel; and more. Feels great in the hand, BTW I'm right handed so can't comment bout lefties. LED's for battery are a very nice touch. Holds a charge for a long time. This mouse is soooooo coool. The only way they could make it better would be if it were BT. I wish, my G5 has BT. Considered the Logitech MX 900 but it doesn't specifically say that it supports OSX. MX 1000 does support OSX. Great mouse. The only other mouse I'm so enthusiastic about is the BenQ M310. It's a laptop mouse and I got it for my wife's iBook. Boy, this is another "slick" mouse. Highly recommend if you've got a laptop that doesn't have BT. If you've got a laptop and it has BT you might want to look at the RadTech BT 500. Cheers

Good ploy on their part to get a cheap emac.
Good luck with HP. Not a bad company's computer to have if you have to have a non-apple, but it still runs windows.

Now, just a question, if you are in Florida, and you are willing to get "some" data, why not just stay with AT&T, since most likely the the phone you get from the store will not be unlock able, and maybe even get the contract... so you can get the phone cheaper too... I don't know, but to me, it seems like the best option, but I might be missing something...
